NIB Lutron Homeworks HWV-1000D-WH Vareo Illuminations and Interactive systems

  

For sale is a very rare Brand new in box Lutron HWV-1000D-WH Vareo style dimmer for the Homeworks Interactive and Illuminations systems. They are not the easiest style dimmers to work with because of the tiny plastic parts that break easily so it's very hard to find a used one that's still intact and almost impossible to find a brand new one in box. This is a very specialized dimmer and while you could use it to replace a standalone Vareo dimmer, what makes it special is that these dimmers use the grey and purple low voltage wires to communicate back to the lighting system.

The cool thing about these dimmers is that they use physical dip switches that can be set 1-4 and if you just match the previous dimmer's setting, it SHOULD work without any programming. All I promise is that this is a working part. An extra note of caution from experience, a lot of these older Homeworks systems are already on their last leg with fragile memory and power supplies and are one power outage away from losing their memory or otherwise being bricked so again, before even touching your system, please make sure you're qualified to work on your system and are accepting all risks.

Having said that, this should just be pretty straight forward.
